Diagnostic Testing

The following two diagnostic tests are utilized as an integral part of Atlas Orthogonal Technique

Manual Cervical Scanning Palpation:

The practitioner is skilled in the use of scanning cervical palpation over the facet joints of the cervical spine. Tenderness elicited over palpation is a positive sign.

Precision Aligned X-ray:

During an individual's initial examination, an accurate determination of the upper cervical vertebrae's position must be made. It utilizes the nasium, open mouth and vertex views of the upper cervical spine.
